Just as we did with our unique funnel cake mix, we have now developed a non-greasy sugar waffle mix. This product is known by many different names such as Sugar Waffles, Rose Cakes, Rosetta's, Circus Waffles, and French Waffles in different places where they're served.
This is another product that can be added along with your current funnel cake operation as you use the same fryer to prepare these delicious treats. All you need is the mold and the mix to get started. There is a triple mold available to make them 3 at a time in your shallow fryer, or you can get single molds in 4 and 5 inch sizes for the gas model fryers. Check our new equipment page for information on the molds. This is also another stand alone option that you have when the event you're wanting to work already has a funnel cake vendor and you need another very high profit, fast selling item that will allow you to use your present equipment to produce. Whether you want to do both and incorporate these into your present menu as we have, or you need another product to serve in place of your funnel cakes, they're another delicious treat that folks will come back again and again for. There are some advantages to using sugar waffles as an additional item to be sold. Because these can be made up in advance. You can make them up a day ahead of time and they're ready to sell. Or you can use those slow periods you have when funnel cake production is slow to prepare these in advance as well. Because we took the grease problem away, these treats are just as good the next day as they are when fried fresh. They are crisp and delicious hot or cold. Just use any high quality vegetable oil to prepare them, and you're going be amazed at how versatile these are. Each 2.5 Lb. bag will make at least 50 sugar waffles, or about 600 per 30 Lb. case.
